Reward our club by creating an account

Recently you would have received an email from Tennis Australia asking you to create an account. This is part of the “Tennis Connect” initiative which can earn the club much needed funds. Simply create an account (if you don’t already have one) and then nominate CLW as your primary place of play for tennis. Each member who completes this before the end of February will earn the club $5. This will also give you access to player results and a range of other services and information from Tennis Australia.

So please help the club by following the instructions in the email sent.

Thanks in anticipation of your support – Leigh Aitken – President

JUNIORS PRESENT TO CELEBRATE OUR 90TH YEAR.
PLEASE WEAR YOUR CLUB SHIRT FOR THIS PHOTO!

This is the last minor round for the season except for Orange Ball who will
continue to play until 1 April 2017.
Next weekend there are no matches due to long weekend and then on
Saturday 18 March we will commence finals for those teams involved.

We will notify of all final positions next week.

Currently positions on the ladder for all teams are as follows:
Division 1 Boys – 1/8 (cannot lose top spot – double chance)
Division 3 Boys – 3/10 (cannot move up or down)
Division 5 Boys – 5/7 (Sadly cannot make top 4)
Division 9 Boys – 2/8 (Very close 2pts behind top spot – double chance)
Green Ball Boys – 6/8 (Sadly cannot make top 4)

Division 4 Girls – 5/7 (very close to 3 and 4 in points – fingers crossed)
Division 5 Girls – 2/7 (should remain in 2nd spot – double chance)
Division 6 Girls – 8/8 (Hope you had a great season and see you again next year!)
Division 7 Girls – 4/7 (could move up but won’t drop out of top 4)

Green Ball Girls Red – 1/8 (very close top 3 teams but will finish in top 3)
Green Ball Girls White 3/8 (6pts to top and 2pts to 2nd spot – will be a tight finish)

Orange Ball – no ladder but continue matches till 1 April 2017

There will be some exciting finishes for some of the above teams.
If your team finishes in either 1st or 2nd position you get the double chance.
If your team finishes in 3rd or 4th spot then you must win in the first week
of finals to stay in the race.

At this stage it looks like we will have 6/7 teams play in the first round
of finals on Saturday 18 March 2017.

Well done to all teams and even if your team has not made the finals
We hope that you had a great season and enjoyed playing – that’s
the most important thing.
