NEWSWORTHY! CLUB TOURNAMENT – Starts this Sunday! Dear members we have commenced uploading the draw for the Club Tournament online, and you will receive an email invitation from me via Challonge to register for the Tournament. If they follow the prompts they will be able to view the draws.

End of Season Dinner –
This year is a special one for Colonel Light West Tennis Club as we are celebrating our 90th Year Anniversary. As always our End of Season Dinner will be held on the night of the Grand Final Day which is April 1st. This year we are holding the event at the Edinburgh Hotel in Mitcham. The dinner will cost $50 per head and payment will be required with your RSVP to attended. This event will be open to Senior Players, Junior Players, Life Members & Past Members – due to the capacity of the room please RVSP as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out! Invitations will be sent out over the next couple of weeks!

Round 11 Our Div 1 Boys will play at home again this week against Mercedes. They had another
big win last week 5-1 so continue to hold top spot. Please come along on Friday night
6.30-8.30pm and enjoy a sausage sizzle too!
All of our other teams did well and we had 6/10 wins!
HEAT POLICY
At this stage Saturday is now expected to be 36 degrees.
If this changes again to 37 or above the following will apply to Friday night and Saturday 10.45am sessions only.
The 8.30am session will play unless it is 37 at 8.30am which is unlikely.
I will communicate to all players once notified of any cancellations.
Junior matches played Friday evenings will be automatically cancelled if the temperature as
measured at Kent Town Bureau of Meteorology on a Friday afternoon at 5.00pm is 37
degrees or above.
10.45am session Junior matches will be automatically cancelled when
the Saturday forecast maximum temperature for the city of Adelaide (as shown on the
Bureau of meteorology website as at 7.00am) is 37 degrees or higher.
